DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to ensure that all environmental compliance of the company as standard requirement from the Philippines Environmental Law are met and all report needed will be submitted on or before the deadline.
- Implement and promote of environmental safety programs in the plant.
- Create/Propose policies related to safety and environment.
- Recommends the installation and operation of additional pollution control facilities whenever necessary.
- Reports within reasonable time to the Regional Office of DENR-EMB the breakdown of any pollution control facility and the estimated and actual date of completion of resolution.
- Attends to the requirements of the establishment including the application, renewal and securing of necessary permits.
- Represents the establishment during all official on-site inspections for monitoring of compliance to the Environmental Certificate of Compliance (ECC) conditions and effluent samplings required by the Regional Office of DENR-EMB.
- Attends meetings, forums and seminars for Pollution Control Officers initiated by the Regional Office of DENR-EMB as part of its continuous education campaign,
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate must be a graduate of any Engineering course.
- At least 3 years experience as PCO, Board Passer is an advantage
- Must have active PCO license
- Knowledgeable in Philippine Environmental Laws & Regulations
- BOSH and/or COSH Certification is an advantage
