JOB SUMMARY
- This position is the head of Product Development Group under Research & Development function. The main responsibility is to develop and timely launch new products, to improve product performance and competitiveness and to sustain product innovation to support the business units. Sets objectives, targets and strategies for the whole department and management of R&D personnel and assets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads, manages and directs the overall Product Development Group
- Develops product innovation plan
- Creates product innovation portfolio for Monoblock, Wood and Composite Furniture.
- Researches on new materials, products and trends.
- Process owner of Develop Phase of APQP
- Assists and supports formulation analysis and troubleshooting.
- Plans and Programs & Cost Management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Material Engineering, Structural Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- Min. of 5 years experience in managing R&D/Product Development functions, including market research in Home Accessories/Furniture Industry
- Hands-on experience in product design, prototyping, implementation.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Valenzuela City
