"Today's consumers have high expectations of the brands they purchase goods and services from – high quality must be matched with value for money," says Reader's Digest Editor-in-Chief Louise Waterson.
The Trusted Brands survey was independently commissioned, and Reader's Digest Philippines was the only publication to publish the results. The research was conducted to find out which companies consumers trust the most; the top market research firm Catalyst Research polled 8,000 people from the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. In more than 50 categories, the poll reveals the companies, goods, and services that people trust.
For the past 25 years, the Reader's Digest Trusted Brands annual survey has highlighted the vital role trust tends to play in influencing consumer behavior.
Waterson also shared that gaining a consumer's trust in a brand takes years of careful planning, product research, dedicated customer service, and outstanding reliability and value.
"It is very humbling to have won the customers’ trust for this long; this inspires us further to deliver highly innovative, relevant and great value products," says Angelo Angeles, Uratex Sleep BU Marketing Head.
